If I'm being honest, I think authenticity at work If I'm being honest, I think authenticity at work went way too far. Authenticity is not an excuse to be a dick, to be unprofessional, or to use your colleagues and boss as a full-time support crew.

In a recent workshop, a leader stopped me and asked, "Kate, how do we deal with the spillers?"

With a little more clarification, I realized she was talking about her direct reports who were using her as a therapist, and her office as their safe space to frequently "spill their guts," so to speak.

We each have different parts of ourselves, and we don't have to show every part in every setting ... in fact, we shouldn't. And that doesn't make us inauthentic. It just makes us conscious and appropriate.

I have nothing whatsoever against therapy, and had an amazing relationship with my therapist for multiple years ... but that was our agreed relationship.

But work is for work.

Real talk: I never realized rebranding would feel Real talk: I never realized rebranding would feel like such a vulnerable process. It is like looking in a mirror and asking - "Does this truly represent me? And the value I bring?"

I spent a few years as a psychologist in New Zealand before moving to the US and starting this journey 11 years ago! It feels wild to realize it has been this long.

And it was just time to 'own my name' in this space.

I’m so grateful to have you in this community. Whether you’re here because you found me via the now retired #heretothrivepodcast (we had a good run), or we've worked together for years ... thank you for being a part of my evolution.

And check out my new site! I hope you love it as much as I do: www.katesnowise.com

TODAY IS THE DAY! My new brand, AKA making the off TODAY IS THE DAY! My new brand, AKA making the official shift to working under my name, is here! The website is LIVE.

So here goes. Now I'm just katesnowise.com .

I need to give a massive shoutout to @daisycreativeco . Rebecca, your guidance and firm nudges were exactly what I needed. And that was long before you made something this awesome to help represent me out in the world! #highlyrecommend

Without Rebecca at Daisy Creative Co. I don't think I would have taken the much-needed step of simply owning my brand as my name. I'm shyer than most people realize, and this online world of "look at me please" has always felt a little odd to me (hence the multiple years of literal silence over here!).

And another big shoutout to my brand photographer @belu.photography. Your pics are getting space to shine!

But I do also recognize that if I want to use my voice in the world, and seek to contribute positively in any way, then I'd better get used to the tools I have at my disposal ... and one of those is the interwebs and these cool-ass social tools we have. That, and I also have an amazing assistant, Molly, now, who will keep me accountable! (thank Molly!)

I would love you to go check it out, and share your thoughts with me here :). Humble ask!

And I appreciate each and every one of you. You're here for a reason and I don't take that connection lightly. So many of you I know personally as clients, both new and old, or friendly comrades on this journey. Thank you so much for the support to date.

New look incoming next week! But same mission - he New look incoming next week! But same mission - helping you live and lead in a way that feels deeply aligned.

My work has always been about more than just "productivity." It’s about creating that positive snowball effect, where small, intentional shifts in your mindset and how you view the world can lead to massive ripples in how you show up, in leadership and in your life.

As I move into this next chapter, I hope my pathways for support are more clear and refined than ever :)

I'm overwhelmed by the response last week to a lit I'm overwhelmed by the response last week to a little hint about my new branding!

Surprise - I'm moving to work simply under my name! After 11 years, I'm officially retiring Thrive. How as an outward-facing brand (probably mask to hide behind if I'm being honest). It felt really good to hide behind a brand name when I first had this crazy idea to go out on my own and try to build something back in 2015, but now it feels like it's done its dash.

Change is really the only constant for all of us, and I think recognizing when it is time for a shift is a really important skill.

It's wild that it has been over a decade. And in this past decade, I've been through a crap-ton of my own growth and evolution. My business has also grown and changed significantly. With all that, it felt like now was the right time to formalize some of these shifts with something new on the outside.

It feels like my new branding is a catch-up to where I am now and embodies the more confident, more focused, more intentional, and perhaps wiser human I have myself become over the years.

When I look back, the thread that is consistent in my work has always been my deep love, AKA obsession, with psychology and understanding the human experience. That still drives me. I am obsessed with how we lead ourselves and how we can lead each other well, so that we can ultimately create a better world together.

I'm not quite ready to splash this new look into the world ... but come next week, we'll be GO over here! So stay posted!!

Thanks so much for being here to celebrate this new chapter with me!
